Ms. Micah O’Connor, Principal
Dear Friends of Our Lady of Fatima,
Welcome to Our Lady of Fatima Parish School!
I am truly blessed to have this opportunity to lead a school with long standing tradition of excellence in Catholic education.
I have had the privilege to work as a teacher at OLOF for the last ten years. I began teaching Kindergarten where I had the rewarding task of instructing five and six-year-old students in their beginning years of school. For the past five years, I have taught third grade. During this time, I have enjoyed instructing students academically and spiritually during their most formative years.
I am the mother of three daughters. My oldest daughter is a senior at Marshall University, my middle daughter just finished her junior year at Chesapeake High School, and my youngest daughter will be finishing her time here at Fatima in the eighth grade, where she has attended since preschool. This gives me a unique perspective in my position as the principal.
My goal as principal is to ensure that all students are happy, healthy, and safe so that they may achieve academically, socially, and spiritually to their fullest potential. At Fatima, we live out our vision statement to the fullest where Faith, Learning and Service have no limits! In addition to our quality Catholic education the students are receiving in the classroom, you will see them giving back to the community in various ways. The students lead a life rooted in serving others and modeling their Catholic Faith throughout the community.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to set up a time to visit our school by calling 304-523-2861 or emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org
