In Mathematics, students grades 6th through 8th focus on Numbers and Computation, Geometry, Algebra and Functions, Data Analysis and Probability, and Proportionality. Students in 6th through 8th grades will continue developing mathematical proficiency and progression of standards for appropriate grade levels.

In Science, students in 7th grade focus on seven major Content topics- Earth Systems, History of Earth, Energy; Forces and Interactions; Structure, Function, and Information Processing, Human Impacts, and Engineering Design.
In science, 8th grade students will focus on six major content topics: Structure and Properties of Matter; Chemical Reactions; Growth Development and Reproduction of Organisms; Natural Selection of Adaptations; and Human Impacts, and Engineering Design. Both 7th and 8th grade students will blend ideas with practices of scientists and engineers, and connecting science concepts to support students in developing knowledge for science.
