5th Grade:
We will wrap up our unit: Use Equivalent Fractions to Add and Subtract Fractions. We will be going over how estimate fractions, how to create equivalent fractions with unlike denominators, add fractions, and subtract fractions. We will start our new unit: Understand and Use Ratio and Rate. We will go over understanding, generating, and comparing ratios. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets, and activities to practice these skills.
7th Grade:
We will start our new unit: Solve Problems Using Equations and Inequalities. We will go over how to write and solve two-step equations. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets, and activities.
8th Grade:
We will start our new unit: Exponents and Exponential Functions. We will go over rational exponents and properties of exponents and exponential functions. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets, and activities.
