5th Grade:
We will continue our unit: Use Equivalent Fractions to Add and Subtract Fractions. We will be going over how add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators, estimate addition and subtraction with mixed numbers, and how to add mixed numbers with fractions that have unlike denominators. We will have a quiz on Thursday. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets and activities to practice these skills.
6th Grade:
We will continue our unit: Understand and Use Ratio and Rate. We will go over how to use ratio tables to graph points on a coordinate plane, find rates, and find unit rates. We will have a quiz on Thursday. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets, and activities to practice these skills.
7th Grade:
We will continue our unit: Solve Problems Using Equations and Inequalities. We will go over how to write and solve two-step equations, using the distributive property to solve equations, and how to solve and graph inequalities with addition and subtraction. We will have a quiz on Thursday. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets, and activities.
8th Grade:
We will continue our unit: Exponents and Exponential Functions. We will go over exponential functions, growth and decay functions, and geometric sequences. We will have a quiz on Thursday. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets, and activities.
