5th Grade:
We will wrapping up our unit: Use Models and Strategies to Add and Subtract Decimals. We will have a review day with our study guides on Monday and have a test Tuesday on this topic. We will begin our new unit on: Multiplying Multi-Digit Whole Numbers starting Wednesday. We will go over how to use mental math to multiply a whole number by a power of 10 and how to estimate products using mental math. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets and activities to practice these skills.
6th Grade:
We will be continuing our unit: Integers and Rational Numbers. We will discuss how to graph points with rational coordinates on a coordinate plane, find distance between two points, and graphing polygons on the coordinate plane. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets, and activities to practice these skills.
7th Grade:
We will be wrapping up our unit: Integers and Rational Numbers. Throughout the week we will discuss how to divide rational numbers. We will review what we went over in this topic. Have our review day on Thursday with our study guides and test on this unit on Friday. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets, and activities.
8th Grade:
We will be continuing our unit: Solving Equations and Inequalities. We will be going over how to create and solve linear equations with variables on both sides, rewrite and use literal equations to solve problems, and solve inequalities. We will have guided notes, worksheets, and activities.
