Reminder to all Grades: We will have a binder check this Thursday, I will be sending home a rubric for this on Tuesday. The end of the Quarter is this Friday.
5th Grade:
We will continuing our unit: Multiplying Multi-Digit Whole Numbers. We will be going over how to multiply three digit by two digit numbers and solving word problems using these skills. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets and activities to practice these skills.
6th Grade:
We will be beginning our new unit: Numeric and Algebraic Expressions. We will discuss how to write and evaluate exponents, prime factorization, greatest common factor, and least common multiple. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets, and activities to practice these skills.
7th Grade:
We will be continuing our unit: Analyze and Use Proportional Relationships. We will go how to find unit rates with ratios of fractions, understanding proportional relationships, and the constant of proportionality. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets, and activities.
8th Grade:
We will be continuing our unit: Solving Equations and Inequalities. We will be going over how to solve and write compound inequalities and evaluating absolute values with inequalities. We will be working on our study guide to prepare for our test on October 17. We will have guided notes, worksheets, and activities.
