5th Grade:
We will be starting our new unit: Models and Strategies to Divide Whole Numbers. We will go over dividing with multiples of ten, estimating quotients, using models to help find quotients, and use partial quotients. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets and activities to practice these skills.
6th Grade:
We will begin our unit: Represent and Solve Equations and Inequalities. We will go over how to understand solutions and no solutions for equations and how to use the properties of equality to write equivalent equations. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets, and activities to practice these skills.
7th Grade:
We will continue our unit: Analyze and Solve Percent Problems. We will be going over percent change and percent markup and markdown. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets, and activities.
8th Grade:
We will begin our new unit on: Linear Functions. We will be going over to determine whether a relation is a function and how to identify, evaluate, graph, and write linear equations. We will have guided notes, guided practice, worksheets, and activities.
