5th Grade- We will complete a end of the novel project. Students will complete grammar and vocabulary lessons. They will begin their I Survived lesson at the end of the week.
6th Grade- We will continue to read in our new novel. We will begin unit 2 in our grammar books. Students will do a review of apostrophes this week. They will complete Wordly Wise lesson 10. I will introduce our next essay which will be centered around Black History month.
7th Grade- This week we will begin our review of rhetorical appeals. Students will make a commercial using one of the following: ethos, pathos or logos. They will complete Wordly Wise lesson 10. I will introduce our next essay which will be centered around Black History month.
8th Grade- Students will continue to read Romeo and Juliet. We will study Martin Luther King’s famous speeches this week. Students will continue to complete Wordly Wise lessons this week.
