First Grade Updates

ELA:
Review Unit 10, Week 2 in our Superkids curriculum.
Word Work– students will identify memory words: boy, girl, two, four, about, over, before & spelling words: say, may, play, happier, happiest
Reading– students will read fluently and understand literary and informational texts, read and understand new vocabulary.
Writing-students will complete how-to writing
Math: Students are working through Unit 8- Understanding Place Value
Science:Students are working through a unit on living things
Social Studies: Students are studying several Presidents and completing Character Studies.
Reminders:
- Please remember to check your child’s yellow folder each day.
- Fish Dinner is 5-7 on Friday
