First Grade Updates

ELA:
Review Unit 14, Week 1 in our Superkids curriculum.
Word Work– students will identify spelling words: oil, boil, soil, coin, join, point, joint, joy, toy, boy Memory Words: kind, buy, find, right, wash, light
Reading– students will read fluently and understand literary and informational texts, read and understand new vocabulary.
Writing-students are working on a fictional story including their fictional character they created
Math: Students are reviewing and taking Unit 10 Assessment
Science: Students are working through a unit on Parents and Offspring
Social Studies: Students are studying about America and our culture
