First Grade Updates

ELA:
Review Unit 7, Week 1 in our Superkids curriculum.
Word Work– students will identify memory words: oh, any, day, good, very, want & spelling words: bakes, cakes, makes, takes, snakes, bikes, likes, hikes, hopes, & ropes
Reading– students will read fluently and understand literary and informational texts, read and understand new vocabulary.
Writing-students will write a short message to a classmate
Math: Students are working through Unit 6 Represent & Interpret Data
Science:Students will be taking a test on Weather & Seasons
Social Studies: Students will be working on a unit on Symbols and Traditions of the United States
Reminders:
- Please remember to check your child’s yellow folder each day.
- Snow Packets were sent home & are to be used during snow days where remote learning is announced
