First Grade Updates

ELA:
Review Unit 6, Week 1 & 2 in our Superkids curriculum.
Word Work– students will review words from unit 6 week 1 & 2
Reading– students will read fluently and understand literary and informational texts, read and understand new vocabulary.
Writing-students will complete their informational writing piece
Math: Students are working through Unit 5 (Addition & Subtraction Equations)
Science:Students are working through a unit on Weather & Seasons
Social Studies: Students are studying winter holidays
Reminders:
- Please remember to check your child’s yellow folder each day.
- December 21 – half-day & December 22- NO SCHOOL
- Our class Christmas Party is December 21 at 10 am. Feel free to send in snacks (nut free).
