- Reading: Students need to complete the Because of Winn-Dixie ch. 6-10 reading packet. The completed packet is due Friday, April 12.
- Spelling:. The 3 completed activities are due Friday, April 12.
- Math: It is Quarter 4 Week 4 math homework. The completed work is due Friday, April 12. Students also need to study for their 8’s and 9’s multiplication quiz (50 questions) on Thursday, April 11.
- Social Science: Study for the topic 5 test on Thursday, April 11.

- She asks Otis, who works at the pet store, to give her a job. Otis doesn’t want to because Gertrude the parrot doesn’t like dogs. When Winn Dixie shows he can get along with Gertrude, Otis hires Opal.

A Note from Miss Kilver:
- For the 4th quarter, I will again be offering AR awards. Please encourage your child to move up in his/her point club!
- Please check your child’s folder nightly.
- Please make sure your child brings a healthy snack each day. They should also have a water bottle at their desk.
- Your child may want to bring a fleece or cardigan each day.
