Its Catholic Schools week so we have a lot of fun things planned for our students.
5th Grade- Students will complete their essays for the Young Writer’s Contest. We will work to complete an opinion writing assignment. Students will complete their class novel this week. We will work in our grammar and vocabulary books.
6th Grade- Students will complete their essays for the Young Writer’s Contest. We will complete a unit review on commas. We will begin our new class novel this week.
7th Grade- Students will review apostrophes, ellipsis and commas this week. We will analyze the poem Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost. We hope to complete our class novel this week.
8th Grade- This week we will analyze sonnets by William Shakespeare. Students will begin reading Romeo and Juliet this week as part of our Shakespeare unit. Students will review apostrophes and commas this week. Students will complete Wordly Wise unit 8 this week.
