Hello Families!

We’re ready for another fun-filled week in Pre-K! Last week we learned about trees, what they need to grow, what we use them for, and how they help us. Thank you parents for bringing in different items from trees for our class to explore. On Friday we had a special guest, Mrs. Cathy Hensley, who read a book about a spooky tree and lead the students in a fun activity to go with the book.

This week we are all about Fall. We will be discussing seasonal changes, autumn traditions, sorting leaves by color, learning about the letter F, writing in our journals, measuring, and making fall themed art.

We are excited for all the learning we have planned. We are also excited, because Friday the 29th is Ms. Turley’s birthday.

Reminders:

If you have not turned in a permission slip for your child to attend the Pumpkin Festival field trip on Oct. 6th, please be sure to turn in the paper by Friday, Sept. 29th.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me at aspringer@olofatima.org or message me via Class Dojo.

Have a great week!
