Happy Thanksgiving Spirit Week! We have many fun things planned for our students this week. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving holiday next week. Submissions for Young Illustrator’s Contest if due on Friday. We will submit school winners to compete at the county level.
5th Grade- This week we will have a spelling test on Friday. The words are posted to our Google Classroom. We will complete many fun Thanksgiving grammar activities. We will learn about prepositional phrases, simple, compound and complex sentences. We will continue to read in our class novel.
6th Grade- This week we will have a spelling test on Friday. The words are posted to our Google Classroom. We will complete grammar lessons on prepositional phrases, predicate nouns/adjectives, direct and indirect objects, active and passive voice and appositives. We will continue to read in our class novel which is Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus.
7th Grade- This week we will complete our final edit of their essays. We will complete a Wordly Wise lesson. Students will work on their submission for the Young Illustrator’s Contest. These are due on Friday. We will continue to read in our class novel which is The Outsiders.
