5th Grade Social Studies

This week, students are using their knowledge of the states and 5 themes of geography to compile research about their chosen state. They will research the location, human/physical characteristics, human/environmental interaction, movement, and region of their state. This research will later be used to make a slideshow, a brochure, or a travel poster about their chosen state. All work will be done in class, so homework is only necessary if a student needs extra practice at home or if their assignment was not completed during class. All students are expected to come to class prepared with their Social Studies binder, charged Chromebook, and something to write with.
