5th Grade Social Studies

This week, 5th Grade students are reviewing their knowledge of the 50 states and their locations on a map. Students will be given resources to practice their recollection of the states and become more familiar with maps. Then, students will choose a state to research and will create an advertisement for said state, with the purpose of educating the reader of the poster and convincing them to visit that state. All work will be done in class, so homework is only necessary if a student needs extra practice at home or if their assignment was not completed during class. All students are expected to come to class prepared with their Social Studies binder, charged Chromebook, and something to write with.
